Service Description: Topography of the Western US was developed using the USGS NED. It is a single, seamless TIF file originally designed to support the NASA RECOVER wildfire decision support system (DSS). Embedded within this image service are various raster function chains or templates that allow the user to easily view/analyze aspect, slope, and hillshade as well.
